Creative Wales

Creative Wales is a Welsh Government economic development agency that supports the creative industries in Wales. We harness the power of our creative sectors, drive growth in our economy and help build a prosperous future for our country. Our expert team connects people and businesses to foster new opportunities; provides knowledge and resources to upskill our workforce and support our trainees; and invests in ideas and people to help our creative economy flourish. Here at Creative Wales we provide support across our creative sectors – from music to animation. We also provide information on the latest training opportunities, as well as advice on funding. We champion the creative sectors, so that they can go on and empower creative individuals – from the grassroots venues giving artists a chance to shine, to the films showcasing the talent behind the camera.

Wales Screen (which sits within Creative Wales) also offers practical production support to the screen sector, providing assistance with sourcing locations, studios, crew and facilities throughout Wales.
