Hatch – Ffilm Cymru

We believe children and young adults (YA) should be able to enjoy an exciting variety of cinematic stories. That’s why our Hatch fund develops live-action family or YA films that reflect the diverse experience of children and young people in Wales today.

The Hatch programme involves expert advice and training, which will help you to bring your cinematic vision to life and to gain on the ground understanding of your target audience. Either the lead writer, producer or director on the project should be born or based in Wales. For producers who have led on a feature film before or significant work for screen. Producers can apply for up to 75% of the total development cost, to a maximum of £24,999.
