Set somewhere in the South West of England, British writer-director Ben Wheatley teams up once more with UK scriptwriter Amy Jump to create a macabre and deeply visceral cinematic experience. Shot in monochrome by British cinematographer Laurie Rose, the film features outstanding performances from Northern Ireland’s Michael Smiley and the UK’s Reece Shearsmith. Synopsis

During the 17th century Civil War in England, two men capture a small group of fleeing deserters. After the captives ingest some wild mushrooms, they are forced to help search for the hidden treasure believed to be buried in the mystical field.
