Directed by British filmmaker Julian Jarrold (Brideshead Revisited), and co-written by UK screenwriters Trevor De Silva and Kevin Hood, this delightfully fun romp features support from revered British actors such as Roger Allam, Emily Watson and Rupert Everett. Synopsis
As peace spreads across Europe on VE Day in 1945, teenage princesses Elizabeth II (Sarah Gadon) and Margaret (Bel Powley) are permitted to join the celebrations. On this wild evening, they get to experience excitement, peril and maybe even a dose of romance.
