Synopsis

Set in Italy during World War II, American Army Colonel Richard Cantwell (Liev Schreiber) commandeers a military driver to take him for a final jaunt in Venice, after discovering he is terminally ill. However his trip isn’t going to plan, until he meets a young countess (Matilda de Angelis) who begins to give him the hope he’s been yearning for.
