With outstanding performances from Ireland’s Aidan Gillen and the UK’s Maxine Peake, the film is co-produced by Sky Arts, Film Constellation and 2LE Media.

Literary genius Samuel Beckett (Fionn O’Shea, Gabriel Byrne) lived a full and varied life as a Parisian socialite, WWII resistance fighter, Nobel Prize-winning playwright, unfaithful husband and sometimes-hermit. Even though he was widely adored, he was still keenly aware of his shortcomings.
