Synopsis

In Tudor England, Katherine Parr (Alicia Vikander) reluctantly agrees to become the sixth wife of King Henry VIII (Jude Law), and soon after is appointed Regent by him, as he leaves to fight overseas. When the King returns, Katherine must fight for her survival, as she finds herself under increasing scrutiny and suspicion from her paranoid and tyrannical husband.
