Synopsis

As eleven-year-old Ama (Le'Shantey Bonsu) starts showing signs of puberty, her mother Grace (Déborah Lukumuena) is overcome with anxiety. Feeling stifled by the small Glasgow apartment her mother tries to contain her within, Ama yearns for more, forcing Grace to reckon with her deeply-buried past.
