Synopsis

Follow the story of the groundbreaking birth of Louise Joy Brown in 1978; the first ever ‘test-tube baby’. After young nurse and visionary scientist Jean Purdy (Thomasin McKenzie) teams up with scientist Robert Edwards (James Norton) and surgeon Patrick Steptoe (Bill Nighy), they eventually manufacture the trailblazing process that would become IVF.
