Synopsis
Billy Casper (David Bradley), a tormented working-class boy who is subjected to abuse both at school and at home, is the son of a single mother (Lynne Perrie). Billy’s life is transformed when he begins training a kestrel on a nearby farm, though his difficult circumstances continue to threaten him and his beloved new friend.
