Synopsis
Set in Victorian London, Eliza Scarlet (Kate Phillips) decides to take on the challenge of running her recently deceased father’s detective agency after he leaves her penniless. Without a husband and operating in a male-dominated world, she acknowledges she needs a partner, which is where unconventional Detective Inspector William Wellington (Stuart Martin) of Scotland Yard, known as "The Duke” steps in.
