Synopsis
The idyllic life of editor Susan Ryeland (Lesley Manville) is disrupted when hotel owner Cecily Treherne disappears after she’d raised concerns about the wrong man being jailed for a murder committed at a British hotel eight years prior. With Cecily’s suspicions roused by a book written by Susan’s former author, Alan Conway (Conleth Hill), Susan is tasked with uncovering the book’s hidden secrets and tracking Cecily down before it’s too late.
