Synopsis
Set in the present day, two new families are introduced who find themselves entangled with the Sparrow clan, as well as entering a complex world of gangs and long-standing rivalries. Meanwhile, the freshly-appointed Sheriff of Nottingham (Sunetra Sarker) fights the proposal of a new coal mine for the area, which may bring much-needed jobs, but also unpleasant reminders of what has sullied the community’s legacy.
