The impressive debut feature from Icelandic writer-director Thordur Palsson features masterful performances from its supporting cast, including the UK’s Joe Cole and Scotland’s Lewis Gribben. The script - co-written by Irish screenwriter Jamie Hannigan - is taut and thrilling, featuring a startling twist at the film’s climax. Co-produced by UK-based Elation Pictures.

Synopsis

A young widow, Eva (Odessa Young), is tasked with making a painstaking choice when a ship sinks near the coast of her fishing village in Iceland: will she save the survivors or take the last of their remaining food to survive the brutal winter? Tortured by their decision, Eva and her crew wrestle with their own guilt and face the consequences of their actions.
