Synopsis
The story of King George VI (Colin Firth), who unexpectedly ascended to the British throne in 1936. Facing the hurdle of a speech impediment, his wife Elizabeth (Helena Bonham Carter) hires actor and speech therapist Lionel Logue (Geoffrey Rush) to help George overcome his stammer.
