Femi, a British boy of Nigerian heritage, is being raised by a loving foster mother in the rural idyll of Lincolnshire. But when his birth mother stakes her claim, he must return to London and adapt to inner-city life. As he reaches adulthood, he must decide for himself who he wants to be and how much his environment defines him.
