Irish director Thaddeus O’Sullivan (Ordinary Decent Criminal) crafts an absorbing and heart-warming comedy starring a highly-talented ensemble cast, including Brits Maggie Smith and the revelatory Agnes O’Casey. Co-produced by British companies Zephyr Films and Ingenious Media, the work brilliantly explores grief and reconciliation as old friends travel in search of a miracle.

Synopsis

Set in 1967 Dublin, three generations of close friends, Lily (Maggie Smith), Eileen (Kathy Bates), and Dolly (Agnes O'Casey) dream of winning a pilgrimage to the sacred French town of Lourdes, where miracles take place. Just before they set off to make this dream a reality, their old friend Chrissie (Laura Linney) arrives and decides to join them, forcing the group to confront their pasts and revisit old wounds.
