Written, directed and co-produced by Sri Lankan-British artist and first-time filmmaker Chloe Abrahams, this astounding work won the Documentary Audience Award at BFI London Film Festival. Based on frank and intimate conversations with the director’s mother and grandmother, Abrahams fearlessly explores her anger while still holding onto her compassion.
