Directed by British filmmaker Tom Harper (The Aeronauts), this atmospheric chiller is masterfully shot by BAFTA-winning British cinematographer George Steel. Adapted to screen by UK screenwriter Jon Croker, the film features a formidable British cast that includes Phoebe Fox, Jeremy Irvine and Helen McCrory. Co-produced by London-based Hammer Films, Talisman Productions and Alliance Films.

Synopsis

During World War II, school teachers Eve Parkins (Phoebe Fox) and Jean Hogg (Helen McCrory) evacuate a group of children to Crythin Gifford to avoid the London bombings. Taking shelter at Eel Marsh House, Eve soon realises they aren’t alone, as they try to protect the children with the help of a pilot (Jeremy Irvine) and unravel the mystery of the Woman in Black.
