British screenwriters Mark Burton and Nick Park co-write this joyful adventure, while the latter also co-directs with UK filmmaker Merlin Crossingham. Comforting in its familiarity, the animation features a talented British voice cast that includes Ben Whitehead, Peter Kay, Lauren Patel, Reece Shearsmith and Diane Morgan. Co-produced by the BBC and Bristol-based Aardman Animations.

Synopsis

Gromit grows increasingly concerned that Wallace (Ben Whitehead) is becoming too reliant on technology after he invents a “smart” gnome (Reece Shearsmith) who develops a mind of his own. Suspecting that a resentful figure from the past might be involved, Gromit tries to protect Wallace by going into battle with the enemies that threaten him.
