This BAFTA-nominated four-episode mini-series is based on the novel by British barrister and author Imran Mahmood and adapted to screen by UK screenwriter Tom Edge. With direction from British filmmaker Sarmad Masud, it features fantastic performances from its UK lead Samuel Adewunmi as well as support from British actor Bukky Bakray. Synopsis
Hero (Samuel Adewunmi), a young man accused of murder, is faced with an avalanche of evidence that suggests he is guilty of the crime. However he refuses to give up, choosing to sack his barrister so he can represent himself and tell the jury his story in his own words.
